Resilience through gastronomy, healing through ritual. Redefining Recovery Through Food and Story

Hi, I’m Sarah Blanchard Eng a sommelier, writer, and stroke survivor with a deep love for gastronomy and the history of wine.
My work explores the intersection of recovery, ritual, and resilience—bringing heart, honesty, and a human touch to the way we talk about healing.

Elevating the Everyday: Food, Wine & Recovery

After earning her Master’s in Sommellerie & Wine Management from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, Sarah worked in celebrated French wine regions before surviving a cerebellar stroke at 29. Now based in PEI, she advocates for heart and brain health, shaping national stroke guidelines and creating support programs for young survivors.
